Are you looking for a way to get more involved in your community (without too much of a time commitment)? Our membership drive for the 2022-2023 season has officially kicked off and we are looking for some help!
Duggan Community League is looking for neighbours to:
Run a “pop-up” membership table in a greenspace for a few hours.
You can do this at a time and location that is convenient for you between now and end of September.
You would set up a chair (and table if you have one) in a culdesac or greenspace in the neighbourhood for a couple of hours. Neighbours would come to you for their new card.
We would provide you all the materials you need to sign members up and help promote the pop-up through social media.
Canvassers to go door-to-door signing neighbours up.
This could be completed between now and end of September.
You would “work your route”, knocking on your neighbours doors to sign them up.
We would give you a package of materials and a route in the Duggan or Rideau Park neighbourhoods.
When you've completed your sign-ups, we'd make arrangements to collect the packages and you can bask in the glow that comes from community involvement. 😊
